14:41:23	 From  Jules Bailey : From July of last year to May of this year, I went through most of the circulating collection at TCC for weeding and I did go mostly by circ rates, although I did make a point to keep primary sources in the Ds and Es, including a lot on black history, that hadn't circulated. I wish this had been more on the radar a year ago.

Another difficulty for us as a community college is finding books on the community college level. We use Gobi for ordering and try to avoid things labeled as "research" and purchase things that say "basic" instead. Some of the DEI books I'm seeing are "research recommended/essential" instead of "basic recommended/essential". So another consideration we have is trying to navigate that and purchase things our students will actually use
