2016 Digitization Conference

PLAN’s Digitization Conference will be held August 18-19, 2016. A full day pre-conference entitled Digitization 101 will also be offered on August 17. (The pre-conference program is FULL)  The conference theme is Digitization: Preserving the Past for the Future.

Register below and join us at Florida State University’s Panama City, Florida campus. If your library or organization is involved with digitization, or planning the digitization of historical records, photos, audios, or moving images, this conference will provide both basic and advanced learning opportunities. All types of libraries and historical organizations will benefit.

Attire: This conference is taking place in Florida, in August.  It will be much too hot outside for formal business attire (suits, etc.). Please dress comfortably.  Note: While it will be hot and humid outside, the air conditioning in the conference center will be running full force.  Please bring a sweater or jacket if you tend to get cold.

For FY2021-22, 70% of the total costs for the PLAN Continuing Education program ($220,000) is supported by federal money, and 30% of this program ($92,991) is supported by state money. The total budget of the project is $312,991.
