Cataloging and metadata have so many acronyms — how is that even possible? BIBFRAME? FRBR, FRAD, FRSAD, LRM? MARC? RDA? XML? What does it all mean? How does it fit in with library work? We’ll go through library lingo from A-Z with an emphasis on cataloging and metadata terminology, connecting the terminologies together. Not sure of a term that you’ve heard used in library work?
