Going further, there is an overabundance of so-called expert opinions and resources attempting to forecast the future. All this can intensify our anxiety for keeping up with all the advancements while we are mesmerized by shiny new gadgets and other emerging technologies. In this webinar:

Chad Mairn is a librarian, teacher, author, and self-described geek who frequently shares his enthusiasm for ‘all-things technology’ as a speaker at library and technology conferences. He is an Information Services Librarian, Assistant Professor, and manages the Innovation Lab at St. Petersburg College. Much of Chad’s recent interests have focused around mobile and emerging technologies. Chad has written a couple of book chapters and numerous articles on library technologies.

For FY2021-22, 70% of the total costs for the PLAN Continuing Education program ($220,000) is supported by federal money, and 30% of this program ($92,991) is supported by state money. The total budget of the project is $312,991.
