PLAN has been awarded an ARPA grant to assist libraries in preparing a Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP). The COOP will help ensure that each library can maintain its Primary Mission and Essential Functions (PMEFs) in the event of a wide range of interruptions and disasters. This includes major disasters, localized acts of nature, accidents, technological emergencies, fires, power loss, mold and pest infestation, attack-related emergencies and more.
This session will provide an overview of COOPs and this project. Learn what is expected of the project participants and the benefit of the project for your library and community.
