Do you wish you could develop a more engaging learning experience for students? This series includes simple to advanced strategies that can be used to engage and increase participation in information literacy instruction. Part one of this series explores the topic of student engagement and provides many examples of how to use active learning, instructional design techniques and the ACRL framework to create engaging experiences in your face to face instruction. Part two of this series will build upon the techniques from part one and identify and describe techniques that are suitable for the online environment.
