Most of us experience a bit of burnout from our jobs now and then. As customers, we’ve all witnessed poor service or tension in the workplace. Organizations are understaffed, underfunded, and overwhelmed. Customer service suffers.

In our libraries, our patrons (and co-workers!) may witness poor service or tension when we don’t take time to step back and reflect on why we love what we do. Perhaps you, like many others, are feeling a bit overwhelmed and you could really use a late summer “pick-me-up.”

If that’s the case, you won’t want to miss this special program designed with you in mind. We’ll be discussing what drains you – and discover tips on how you can lift yourself out of the doldrums. There’ll be lots of time for questions, discussion, and personal reflection.

You’ll leave this session uplifted and feeling positive about your library. When you feel positive, your co-workers and patrons feel positive, too. Your attitude improves, service improves, and the work environment improves. It’s a win-win-win!

Linda Bruno will present this interactive session. Registration will start at 8:30 a.m. (Eastern), and the presentation will begin at 9 a.m. (Eastern)

Registration is closed for this event.
