Running on Empty is a self-assessment to ward off burnout and help library staff engage once again with the joy of public service.

Dealing with Difficult People is a workshop where you can learn not only what pushes your buttons but WHY — and practical tools to reduce the heat in an uncomfortable situation.

Brenda Viola‘s work as an award-winning Public Information Officer for a first-ring suburb of Philadelphia birthed the inspiration for her Municipal Education courses and the launch of ME Seminars. Previous clients include the American Library Association, American Public Works Association, American Society of Civil Engineers, and International Institute of Municipal Clerks. Her messages are powerful because they have been developed in the trenches, working side by side with dedicated librarians, clerks, public works, parks and recreation and many other local government professionals.

Breakfast provided courtesy of the Okaloosa County Public Library Cooperative for registered attendees.

Seats are limited. Please register by March 4, 2019.

Registration is closed for this event.
